Shadetree Adventure Game Engine (S.T.A.G.E) is a Full Featured Text Adventure Game Development environment. It features an IDE with Syntax Highlighting, Intellisense Code Completion and Context Sensitve Help. You can compile the source code to a Game that is run with the interpreter or into a stand alone Executable. The Game can be run from within the IDE as well. S.T.A.G.E is designed for Beginners and is VERY EASY to use, without learning a bunch of technical or programming techniques. There is also an Advanced Version (S.T.A.G.E ADV) that is in development that is Object Oriented for the more Advanced Adventure Game Programmer. Below is a preleminary screen shot of the system in the EARLY stages of it's development. (The Language showing in the screen shot is NOT S.T.A.G.E)
